Paul has over 30 years experience in public accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Business Law) from the New South Wales Institute of Technology and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Paul has been involved with the Clarence Property group since 2007, and during that time has been responsible for the feasibility analysis, finance arrangements and management of numerous property transactions and land developments in NSW & QLD. Paul is also Chairman of Southern Cross LADS.
Steve joined the Manager in June 2007 and has extensive experience in financial management, reporting and analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Management) degree from Liverpool University in the UK, Diplomas in Property Investment & Finance and Property Asset Management and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA). Before joining the Manager, Steve had spent the previous 8 years working in senior management accounting, project management and analyst roles for one of the largest companies on the London Stock Exchange.
Simon has over 34 years experience in real estate. Simon was principal of George and Fuhrmann Real Estate for 11 years and LJ Hooker Yamba for 10 years. He has extensive experience and knowledge in town planning, subdivision development, motel development and land rezoning in QLD and NSW. Simon holds qualifications in Town Planning from UNE and Real Estate from UWS. Simon is an active participant in the real estate market and provides detailed analysis on construction and development costs.
Julie has 25 years experience in the finance and funds management industries. In her role as Administration Manager, Julie oversees all aspects of the Unitholder register and provides support to the Financial Controller in property accounting and reporting. Julie previously held the position of Senior Investor Relationship Manager with the Diocesan Investment Fund in Lismore where she was employed for 16 years prior to her appointment with the Manager in 2007.
Troy is a licensed real estate agent, and has over 15 years’ experience specialising in the purchase, sale & leasing of commercial property. He holds a Bachelor of Business, Accounting Major (University of New England) and a Graduate Certificate in Business Management (University of Southern Queensland).
Troy has extensive experience in local government, having held management positions in accounting and governance. He was a principal of North Coast Commercial Real Estate for approximately 10 years, and also has 15 years’ compliance experience in the funds management industry.
Simon is an investment professional and Chartered Accountant who has been involved in the property and financial services industry for over 20 years. He has worked in Australia and the UK for multi-national organisations including, PwC, JPMorganChase, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (now BlackRock) and a number of other large private property groups. He is experienced in portfolio and asset management, property management and development and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
Ben leads the group’s acquisition and special projects is responsible for sourcing acquisitions, negotiations, due diligence, financial analysis of potential investments and divestment strategies. Prior to joining Clarence Property Ben had over 7 years’ experience as an Associate Director overseeing numerous unlisted property trusts with a focus on asset divestment, commercial development, portfolio management and optimisation. Ben holds a Business Marketing diploma, is a member of REIQ, Property Council of Australia and is a Licenced Real Estate Agent.
