The Base Construction Reaches New Heights!

We’re excited to see strong progress continuing at The Base, with several significant construction milestones recently achieved on site.

Last week, Kane Constructions successfully removed the piling rigs ahead of schedule, marking the completion of a major early works phase. Shortly after, the project’s tower crane was installed, signalling an exciting transition as construction prepares to move above ground.

The crane installation was a carefully coordinated operation requiring overnight works and the temporary closure of three of the four lanes on the adjacent roadway. Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, the process ran smoothly and normal traffic conditions were restored well before morning commuters hit the road.

For our team, this milestone has been particularly rewarding to witness. With our Robina office located next door in The Rocket, we’ve had a front-row seat to the progress of The Base from day one. 

Designed by Cameron & Co Architecture, The Base will deliver approximately 6,700sqm of Premium/A-Grade office accommodation across five large floorplates. The development is being created in direct response to growing demand within the Gold Coast office market, which remains one of the most supply-constrained in Australia, with A-Grade vacancy currently sitting at just over 3%.

Once complete, The Base will provide businesses with much-needed access to high-quality, contemporary office space in the heart of Robina. The project has been designed to deliver flexible, premium workplaces that support productivity, connectivity and long-term business growth.
